Explore Orkney Day 2009 in Association with Via House
An Appeal on behalf of the Orkney PHAB Club
This year’s annual charitable event will provide these members of our community, with a fascinating opportunity to experience the delights of Orkney folklore and music with Peat-Fire Tales at Via House.
Although tourists and Orkney folk alike visit this attraction, some of our people never have the chance.
Explore Orkney Day 2009 will provide that opportunity. We aim to deliver an evening that is fun educational and confidence building. The PHAB Club depend upon voluntary funding.
Itinerary - Thursday 1st October 2009
- 17.50 hours. Meet at the Bus Station. (Look for a white J & V Coach)
- 18.00 Prompt. Depart
- 18.30 hours. Arrive at The Merkister Hotel for a light supper
- 20.00 hours. Arrive at Via House in Sandwick.
- Meet Lynn & John for an Evening of Peat-Fire Tales - storytelling and music
- Violin by Steven Flett
- 21.30 hours. Return to Kirkwall
